My 2 Year-old Is a Streaker!!

The streaking is perfectly normal. My 4yo daughter will still do it if I would let her. When we get home she will take all her clothes off and run around in her panties. I figure as long as we are at home (and the curtains are closed. lol) then it doesn't hurt anyone. But I don't let her run around 100% naked.

You may also want to consider that your daughter is not ready to be potty trained yet. I would give her a little more time. It's amazing, but when THEY are ready the just do it. My daughter was 3 before she became 100% potty trained. So to be honest, I wouldn't worry about either the potty training or the streaking. It's normal. Give her some more time. :)

get her out of the diaper and into undies. She has the sensation of going and knows that the diaper is wet but I bet she hasn't associated what else she feels. My own two year old is going through the same phase and we're going through way too many pullups.

This is also time to teach her how to put them back on. Try to stay emotionless and not reactive. She may be feeding on the attention.

I am dealing with the same thing with my 2 year old son! He'll strip down and sure enough, has JUST gone pee-pee in his diaper, wants to sit on the potty, but has not yet gone. I have heard this is a sign of being ready to potty train, but I don't know how to help him along or if he'll just become more aware of the sensation BEFORE he goes?? The streaking, in itself, is perfectly normal. I agree with the responder below about switching to panties. Bring you daughter to the store to help pick them out; it will be fun!

I have a two year old that streaks, and goes potty in the toilet now, because I put panties on her and made a huge deal about everybody in the house wearing panties and going in the big girl potty then I ask her every at least 1/2 hr if she needs to go potty and then I put her on the potty and she usually goes. We have had lots of wet panties, but she is now getting it after about 6 months of running in just panties. I also used potty candy for a while. If she is old enough to take the diaper off cause it is wet, she is old enough to potty in the big girl potty!

My 2 year old son would be naked 24/7 if I'd allow it. He's not much of a talker, so potty training doesn't seem appropriate right now. Honestly, I think, for him, he's just demonstrating something that he can independently do, and he enjoys the freedom! :) It's frustrating, and diapers aren't cheap, but it could be so much worse. I was a streaker, too, so who knows? Good luck! (And get LOTS of pictures!!! :> )

I don't know what will work but i can tell you that your not alone. My husband is a youth minister and my daughter likes to strip down anywhere..including church events...she takes off her pants and diaper and then stands there naked till i grab her with my race all bright red! i keep telling her..honey only take your pants off when your in the bathroom...but it doesn't work. the only thing i can figure is at least i have a daughter who's comfortable with her body...good or bad as that might be:)
