hi just want to know how is your daughter now did u consult any doctor my 2 year old is having same thing .
My 2 year old daughter has had underarm BO for about a year, no response or concern from MD. I generally use powder on her busy days in her armpits but two days ago...I discovered underarm hair. I DO NOT need a 3 year old with a period. Please help 1) calm my fears 2) give any advice or share your experience with this 3) refer a doctor / nurse who does not say "hmm, i dont know, never heard of that before".

Hey, did you ever get an answer with regards to this? Hope your daughter is ok? x
Hi T.,
Be persistent with the pediatrician maybe have them refer her to a specialist to see why this might be happening at this age. Typically the B.O. starts roughly between 8 and 9yrs.
A.
I understand your stress here. My daughter was diagnosed with precocious puberty when she was 7yrs. old. And her period did come just two short years later. She is 15 now and all is good, but I remember way back then they told us that if she were younger than 7 they could give her a shot to stop the onset of puberty. They said then that it was just the new change in the U.S. they had be seeing it for the past few years (back then). They claim it's all due to the hormones that are given to cattle and poultry to "beef" them up, then we eat the meat and it has the hormones in it. This is the result of the hormones from the animals. Even the milk we drink. So if we as mothers are eating and then have kids our kids start to develop too soon. So go to a doctor for sure and have her checked out. Good luck
I have seen many news specials and doctors talking about premature puberty lately. Yes it can happen in boys and girls as young as your daughter. I know the show "Doctors" on CBS spoke of this recently. You may google them and Dr. Sears for more information. You need to get her on treatment to slow it down ASAP if she indeed is experiencing this. You are not alone as others are going through this. If I find more info I will update my post. Good luck.
Here are a few articles I found.
It is actually called precocious puberty, and, can be very miserable for the child if a handle is not got on it pretty quickly.

I can recommend a dr by the name of dr.quentin collard @ Bootin and Savrick, she is very thorough and will get to the bottom of it. she will definitely express a healthy dose of concern. she is great.
Hi T.,
I suggest you take her to a naturopathic dr. My ND is not far from you and is a sweetie. She has children. You and your daughter would be comfortable with her and her staff. It is not at all a medical atmosphere. No blood, urine tests. She gives all natural holistic treatments. I would check this out soon as you already are seeing signs of advanced maturity. If you want more info, write me back. I will give you her website and you can talk to them about whatever questions.
Peace, C.
