My 9 year old is having that.
The Doc said nothing is medically wrong with her... but it is probably growing pains.

But if you are worried, just take your girl to the Doc.

Growing pains would be my guess.
Plug in a heating pad, and soothe for a five or ten minutes, or give a massage.
My mom would have me lie on the cool kitchen floor when I had mine.
It's an internal ache, not like cramps, just an ache that's hard to explain.
You don't recall ever having them?

I used to get these along with shivers and just a general cold feeling in my bones is the best way to describe it. I remember waking up really cold with achy legs and feet and putting on tons of clothing never being able to satiate the cold. I used a blow dryer once under the blanket (hello mom and dad FIRE hazard!!!!) it worked. hope she feels better.

My younger sister had this happen a lot in her legs and feet, her doctor said it was growing pains. She would cry and writhe in pain, Mom would have to give her something for pain, and sometimes a heating pad.
