Yes you can get it. It's very contagious. You know that ringworm is a fungus and not a real worm right? The name is confusing! Anyway, it takes a while to go away and you should keep it covered, but I swear the sun helps it more than anything. I've had it a few times and that cleared me up the best, so if you're going to go outside or to the pool, leave it open for a while.

Keep your hands washed, and dont let him touch his sores, they spread easily. You will be okay as long as you limit contact and stay clean.

Yes.

Fungus infections takes time to completely go away.
And it can go back and forth between people. And it can spread to other spots.
And from pets too.
My late Dad once had ringworm. His Doc told him he got it from our pet dog. (who had it). But the Vet, said our dog got it from him.
Anyway, the point is, it is very contagious.
And it can, recur.

Yep.

It's very contagious, and it's likely that you already do. Have someone check your shoulders and back... And because we usually wash AFTER peeing, be sure to check your inner thighs and private parts as well as the rest of you as its easy to transfer to your nether region while wiping yourself.

Yes. I caught it from one of my toddlers years ago. Over the counter Lotrimin AF will work just fine if you see it popping up. Use it religiously until you and your son are clear, cover the affected area with a bandage and you should be fine. In my case, it did not recur.

yes you can still get it. My kids have had it before and I just put lotramin cream on it 2-3 times a day for about 3 weeks and it's gone.
