Calendula tea helped me
There's a tea at most grocery and health food stores made from raspberry leaves (not the berries), that also helped.

I don't, but a good friend of mine swears by raspberry leaf (either tea or tincture) for her painful cramps.

My sis works at a hospital & a Dr told her Aleeve works best. Take 2 every 12 hours when you have cramps (typically the 1st couple days), it helps with cramps & reduces *flow*. My sister tried it for the 1st time last month & she said it worked like a miracle. I told my friend about it & she just did it & she said it worked unbelievable for her too.

If the cramps are really bad, I get a hot water bottle thing and place it on my lower belly. That helps alot- take some ibuprofen and gentle stretching, yoga poses. GL!

I use raspberry leaf. I used to drink tea, but now I use tincture. It works amazingly well. It also reduces the flow, and tones your uterus. I have been using it close to 10 years now. Before that, I would have to take Alleve all day.

Red raspberry leaf tea or capsules! The tea works best, but if you don't like the taste, capsules will work too. I know every body is different, but these have worked WONDERS for me. If I start getting PMSy, I drink this, and it goes away - seriously. Amazing! I need to do a commercial for them because I"m totally sold on this stuff...hehe. It also lessens the flow of your period. It works best if you drink it/take it three times a day every day. If you can't do that, then take it at least three times a day when you are PMSing or on your period.

I know this might seem excessive, but my periods used to be so awful that I'd have to take 2 ibuprofen and 2-3 tylonel to get them gone. After having a baby (or four), my cramps have lessened, so I'm not sure how it would work if I was having the same type of cramps, but red raspberry leaf works like medication (it's all natural). I drink it, my cramps go away. They come back hours later, I drink more. They go away. I've never taken anything natural that has helped me as obviously as red raspberry leaf. It is AWESOME. Definitely try it!

My period was literally a pain every month from when I started (at 11) till when I had my son (at 36). I tried everything (medications, eating certain foods, not eating certain foods, teas, heating pads helped some), my doctor said there was nothing wrong and was beginning to think that was just the way periods were. I was pleasantly surprised after having my son that the cramps were finally gone for good.

I used to lay down and put my feet up on the head board of my bed and just sleep for a while. Sometimes with a couple pillows under my hips so I was laying at an angle. It just seemed to take pressure off everything and I always felt better. I've heard Drs say to exercise or go walk. But really, who wants to do that when they feel yucky?
