I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place in Plano (or anywhere in the Dallas area is fine) where I can buy healthy, organic or natural toys for my infant daughter. I want the plastics she chews on the toys and blankets she sleeps with to be safe- especially at her tender age! Thank so much!!!

Learning Exress (located in many shopping centers; I went to the one at Parker/Tollway in Plano) has a line of organic toys, especially for infants as well as stuffed animals.

Peppermint is a store in Richardson that sells all sorts of natural baby and child things. Haven't been there myself, but plan to go soon!

babies r us now carries some natural toys. Whole Foods and Central Market also carry some great ones. Online is your best bet, though. Amazon and oompa toys are my favorite places to purchase from. Right start at the shops at Legacy sometimes carries safe baby toys. Baby Earth online (which is located physically in Round Rock) also has great stuff.
Try thesoftlanding.com. They also have bottles and sippy cups as well as things for adults.
There is a place over in Plano at the Shops at Legacy, although I can't recall the name. It's something like "Right Start". The store is on the main roadway that runs past that mall. Let me know if you have any questions and I"ll find a better description of the location for you.

You need to register to shop on etsy, but it is quick, easy and free. I am quite addicted to the site! You can even find someone who would make it for you, if they don't have exactly what you want.
