For my nausea, I have successfully used No to morning sickness tea that ended up my nausea all in a day.
I had nausea and heartburn all last week. My heartburn was all in the mid-stomach area though not my chest. My mom thinks it could be the start of an ulcer and my co-workers think I am pregnant. 10 days after my period this month, I spotted for 3-4 days. It was nothing heavy.
Now obviously this sounds like more of a pregnancy thing, but my nausea and heartburn are gone. I have stopped drinking caffine because it made my heartburn worse. I went on a diet for a few days where I cut out all acid foods. I have not had heartburn since last week. I think this sounds more like an ulcer, but maybe it was just a phase I was going through.
What do you think??
Okay, so I have not taken a pregnancy test yet because when I was pregnant with my daughter, I tested when I was 10 days late and the 2nd line was barely there. So, if I do test, even if I am pregnant it would be too soon. My period is to start this Wednesday so if it does not start, this week then I guess I will be purchasing a pregnancy test. When I am on birth control I am never late.
Right now the nausea and heartburn are done. I have not had anymore. Now I am experiencing a sour stomach pretty much after I eat. I didn't have supper tonight because I was afraid my stomach would hurt. I will continue to keep track of this and call my doctor. Thanks for all of the responses.

I think you are onto something connecting it to your food. A client of mine experienced the same thing (relief of symptoms) when she eliminated potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. I still advised her to visit her doctor to be certain there isn't a bigger issue. I hope you feel better long term and yeah you for being mindful of what you consume. Eating more slowly (chewing a lot) will also help.

Maybe this is a dumb, question, but you've taken a pregnancy test to rule that out, right? Because we obviously can't tell you if you're pregnant or not and if you are you need to be taking vitamins, eating well, not drinking/smoking, etc...
Anyhow, if it's gone away and you aren't pregnant, I would assume that you had a bit of s stomach bug or something and it's now passed. If it comes back, see a doctor.
It could be an the begining of an ulcer or it could be your gall bladder. I had heart burn and nausea and it ended up being my gall bladder. I would talk it over with my doctor.
it could be either or dont self diagnose go see a dr and do a ept too.
Only one way to find out for sure - go to the doctor and/or take a pregnancy test!
Other things you can consider:
-Have you eaten foods with tomatoes or tomato products (pizza, pasta, etc.) and noticed the problem getting worse?
-Did you eat shortly before going to bed? If you lay down too soon after eating, the acids in your stomach can back up into the esophagus causing heartburn. Likewise, if you exercise right after eating, you could be bouncing all those digestive juices around and again, leading to heartburn.
I think you would be more safe taking a pregnancy test and if it comes out negative, just go to a gastrointerologist specialist. I think sometimes stress can provoke severe heartburn, not necessarily an ulcer but still you have it checked. My aunt had her period several times during the first months of her pregnancy so only a test will tell you for sure.
I would recommend to drink rice flour drinks, you can find them in Hispanic grocery stores or even at the ethnic section at Meijer or Save A Lot. Rice flour has the properties of being an astringent, which is great for heartburn and controlling diarrhea. It is also safe for children and it's all natural. People in Mexico, where I was born, use it very much and it is very very effective. Some moms use it to control reflux in babies as young as 4 months in a sippy cup or when they start eating solids instead of their rice cereal. You can find the rice flour in a box form (you can find the instructions online, just type "rice flour atole") or just buy the instant powder envelopes called Atole (these ones come in different flavors like strawberry, chocolate, coconut, etc).
