I'm hosting a benefit bowling tournament (website on my profile for more info), and I'm stuck trying to come up with a catchy slogan. In short, the money raised will go toward the purchase of a service dog for peanut allergies. I'd like to incoprporate the words allergy and/or peanut, dog(s), and maybe bowling or something related to bowling. The only thing I can come up with (thanks to google, lol) is "No nuts, just balls" but I'm not feeling the appropriateness of that considering this is for a young child ;) Any ideas??

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well, after considering the options I've received here and on our FB page, I've decided to incorporate the name of the dog and go with "Bowling for Brie." Thanks everyone for all of your help :)

Hi,

What a wonderful idea!! My daughter has a peanut allergy so hearing this makes my heart warm! However, I would not say "No nuts, just balls" because peanuts are not nuts, they are legumes. Tree nuts and peanuts are two different things and making people aware of that is important too. Anyway, what about "Strike Out Peanut Allergies" or "Got SPARE time? Help STRIKE out Peanut Allergies".

Hope this helps!

I would caution AGAINST 'no nuts...just balls'...While very cute...it reminded me of when I was working for a university. As part of student services, we were planning a human sexuality week. Each night was to deal with a different aspect...from 'spiritual issues' one night (various local clergy etc to speak), to representatives from a gay alliance group...to planned parenthood...you get the idea.

Anywoo...I came up with a sign...In BIG LETTERS it said..."Different Positions' Below that, BIGGER letters...SEX...then smaller letters...dates...times...locations. Needless to say, a good turnout...BUT the dean of student affairs...not so pleased...lol

Good luck!
