Need a Good Mommy Cell Phone

My cell phone broke and I need to get a new one. I am on AT&T. My old phone was a Samsung phone with a camera. I prefer a phone with a camera. However, what I really need is one that is mommy friendly. I have heard the LG slider with a dial button on the cover really is not.
Thanks,
H.

I have an Iphone and love it. It is not waterproof though and I dropped it in the commode and had to buy a new one, ouch. The girls like it because they can play games on it with all the free apps. I like it because, like one other mom said it is a mini-computer. AT&T has one phone out that I seriously thought about getting. I don't remember what it was called but it is indestructible. They show a truck driving over it and all. I can't remember if it wasn't a smart phone or if it just didn't have GPS or what, but that was why we went with the Iphone. So, depending on what you mean by "mommy friendly" these are my two suggestions. GOOD LUCK!!

I got the LG Vu, which is a touch screen phone. I love it! It takes great pictures, and holds a lot (I have about 50 on there, and that's without the mini-SD card in it). I really like a lot of the other features it has also. You can even subscribe to the TV, and watch about 12 different channels anytime. I like the phone book on it also, and the calendar. It has a lock button on the side, and my 18 month old can't accidentally dial anything, and it won't start pushing buttons in my purse. There are only 3 actual buttons on the front of the phone, and they aren't extremely obvious to little eyes.

My husband has the Motorazor. He really likes it. It's a flip phone. The camera is pretty good on it, and it also holds a mini-SD card. My husband is a mechanic, and very tough on his phones. So far, it seems pretty tough. That's one of the reasons he got that phone, is b/c we read a lot of online reviews that it's durable.

We got ours at Walmart, because the prices were so much better than anywhere else. They don't have as big of a selection, but they had the phones we wanted. My husband's phone was free with a 2 yr. upgrade, and my phone was only $50 (I saw it for $150 and up other places). We also have AT&T.

I'm on AT&T also and we gone through several phones, some because we didn't like them and some from "stupidity". I've come back to the Razor. I loved my Krazr but dropped it into a glass of teas (another story), but the Razor's on Ebay are so cheap and they are good sturdy phones, that I've come back to it a couple of times. I just bought one on Ebay for $60, new in the box. It has a camera also. So I hope this helps. Good Luck.

I love my LG shine silver one. It doubles as a mirror for putting on lipstick in a hurry.

I have the palm centro. I love it . It did take me a bit to get use to it of course. They signed me up for everything of course and i later went back and cancelled the internet an d gps stuff. I love the calendar that can connect to my computer. That was my favorite msut have feature. I do liek the full key board. Teh keys are tiny but usually great for a woman. My husband hates it...yeah... Leave it alone. Plus i like to text. I am a coach and i can text all the parents about practice etc... In one swoop without a million calls. At first it was too fancy of a phone for what i wanted but after i cut some services and that saved money...it is perfect.

I do have the LG Slider and love it! I've had no problems with it, and no accidental dialing.

I just got the AT&T Quickfire and I LOVE it!! It has all the basic phone functions you want (text, im, camera, video) plus I can check my email! I wasn't ready for the added costs of the iphone with internet access and all the additional applications. So, I went with this email only package and it's wonderful!

Reception has been clear and battery life is pretty good. It's touchscreen with a side slider that reveals a qwerty touchpad..so easy for texting and responding to email.

Good Luck!

I love my iPhone. I have all my 19 mo daughter's Disney videos on it so when we are in the store she can watch. I have a leather shell on it, so if she drops it, it is protected and since it is a touch screen, nothing gets in the keys.

I am on ATT and I loved my razor phone until I got my Iphone last April.

My Hubby has the newest Iphone version and loves it. My daughter (14) and I got ours last April and love them.

My only complaint is that I cannot text a picture. I have to send or recieve via email instead. That is not that much of a biggie.

Upside? I no longer carry my laptop when we travel because I have this phone. One less hassle, one less bag, much easier!!!

For us....we love the Iphone. We have 3 and would not change back now.
