Need a New Car

I need some advice as to what kind of vehicle to buy. I currently have a full size truck, so driving something big is not a problem. I really would like to stay under $30,000 but I need alot of room. I need room for travling since we go back and forth to CA alot. SO we have 2 carseats, two playpens, two dogs (in a kennel) luggage, double stroller and other small stuff. You can see why my full size has worked out so well. ANY ideas or experiences you all have had with your vehicles would be great.

What can I do next?

I highly recommend the Saturn RELAY! I got one (one year old)and after taxes, license, and everything, it cost us $25,000! It has a DVD player, seats 7, gets pretty good mileage (from Gilbert to San Diego on less than one tank of gas), and is SAFE!!! If you get one, go to the Tempe autoplex, ask for Denny Lewelin (sp?), and tell him M. Howell sent ya! He's AWESOME!!! he gave us his cell number if we needed anything!

Hi L., My boyfriend has a Kia, which was reasonably priced, pretty good on gas and has a nice amount of room in it. Between the 2 of us, we have 3 kids, ages 12, 8 and 5, oh yeah, and a big dog! and it works nicely for us. Also, I'm an insurance agent, make sure you call your agent to give you quotes on whatever you are thinking of buying (it helps to have the VIN), the premium could make a big difference for you. People don't think to do that when figuring out if they can afford their new car or not! Let me know if I can help with anything else! And congrats on the new car! F. www.agentlady.com

We have a suburban and we love it. When we go on long trips we take out the back seat and have more room for luggage, etc. We found our suburban online and we had a wonderful experience with the car dealership we bought it from. Our suburban was used, but it was upgraded galore. It has 20 in rims, a dvd player, leather seats, heated seats, cd changer, etc. etc. and we bought it for $27,000! We told the dealer what type of payment we wanted and we got it! We also had a trade at the time that we were upside down in. The dealership we used was Chapman Lincoln Mercury on McDowell in Phoenix.

We now have 135,000 miles on the suburban and it still works perfect. We have kept up with filter changes and oil changes and it gets great highway miles. We have not had to have any major repairs, just a few fuses replaced, which were free by the way from the dealership:) We used the Kelley Blue Book website to find our car. Hope this helps!
