Hi S P
I totally understand what you are going through. I have food allergies and eat a good diet. But I was eating eggs, dairy, and wheat every day.Over time, I developed an allergy. I realized this because I was so tired in the morning, had food hangovers, eczema on my hands when I ate allergic foods, headaches after eating, mood swings and infertility. It's so hard to go to your regular grocery store and find foods that are wheat free. I have yet to find a good doctor to help with this so you really must do it on your own. Chiropractors who specialize in nutrition are your best choice. I had my blood work done from a company called Immuno Labs. This is the website. www.betterhealthusa.com
They gave me choices of foods and recipes I could eat instead of wheat, dairy, eggs, yeast etc... There are tons of options. For example, you can eat duck eggs instead of chicken eggs. :-) Also, if you are in Austin I recommend a place to you called Food For Life. The website is

It was opened by a chiropractor and they have and make gluten free/casein free foods. They are in Cedar Park. She makes prepared meals you can take home that night or freeze. You can also eat right there in the store to try things. They are also open for breakfast.
This type of diet forces you to be creative and it's so frustrating trying to shop but you will get it down.
I also have a great book called The Allergy Self Help Cookbook. It has great easy recipes to help with all your allergy needs. I would recommend putting your children on probiotics daily. Not from yogurt though, just probiotics.
I went and saw a movie the other night called Food Inc. It truely opens your eyes about food in America. It's still showing. Here is the website. http://www.foodincmovie.com/
Good Luck and email me if you have any more questions.
