I live in Gresham but take my two dogs to Montage Dog and Cat Kennels. They are in vancouver wa. by the new Costco. They have been great with my two dogs. We used to leave the dogs there a few times a year for vacations but now since we have twins, not so much. One of my employees used to leave their cat there as well. I have given you the website. My neighbor, Nicole, does a dog/cat sitting business out of her home. She specializes in high quality care, either boarding the animals at her home or visiting your home up to three times daily. Sometimes she'll even stay in your home. She has different rates for all this. She and her husband dream of starting a rescue shelter in the country one day. She's amazing with dogs and cats. Their whole home is geared around their pets. Very clean and animal-centered. Her number is ###-###-####. Tell her Bethany recommended her. She has flyers she can send you, and she has a booth at the Parkrose Farmer's Market every Saturday through October, so you could meet her in a public place if you want. She's has clients in Vancouver, so I know the drive isn't an issue for her :)

Luv-Your-Pet on 136th/137th off Fourth Plain is a great place. They do not keep the animals in kennels except at bedtime. They have a backyard with toys and everything to let them play. They keep larger and smaller dogs seperate. It's a great place. We take our dog there whenever we can't take him with us.
We always use Montage for our doggies - just north of NE 88th and Andresen. Never had any concerns or problems with them. Our doggies have done great there.
