How about watermelon? You can cut it in cute shapes. Another idea, but not as health is red velvet cupcakes, my son loves those.
Next week I have to bring in snack, and it also happens to be "red" week. The children dress in red and the teacher would like the snacks to be "red" related. My friend is bringing in apples with peanut butter (there are no allergies) on one day and I have to bring something the next. I thought about jello, but know that a lot of the kids don't like it. Does anyone have any "red" food ideas for a snack? I would like it to be somewhat healthy. Thanks for your help :)

What about dried cranberries. Their red and a healthy snack.
-You could make vanilla pudding and color it red.
-Maybe a "fruit kebab" with red grapes, strawberries and watermelon. I think you can still get melon at this time of year. You could add some red angelfood cake too!
-mini strawberry shorcakes using angelfood cake, strawberries and colored "light" whipped cream
-granola with dried cranberries would be healthy and taste good and you could add other dried fruits and serve w/ berry yogurt like a parfait in plastic cups
So fun!
There are so many options.
Red velvet cupcakes
Red Fruit Snacks
Strawberries
Raspberries
jello
mini pancakes with a little red food color
Have fun with it
I’m in the “better safe than sorry,” “err on the side of caution” camp myself. I recomend avoiding artificially colored red items:

Although they don't come out very red, at Christmas time I make rice crispie treats in the shape of red stars. I add red food coloring to the marshmellows.
Watermelon - or a fruit salad that has mostly red fruits, strawberries, red grapes etc.
I like the red jello idea.
Maybe you could do something with strawberry or cherry yogurt?
Good luck.
