Who you go with largely depends on your goals for this delivery. Do you want to deliver vaginally? If you do, you'll need to be up-front about your goals and find an OB who will consider a VBAC. If you don't mind a repeat C-section, then it's not as big an issue. If you're dead-set on not having another C-section (and you don't have to have one just because you did the first time) and can't find an OB who will consider it, you could always go the home birth route. There are many Bay Area midwives who will do HBAC (home birth after Cesarean).
If delivering in a hospital, if may not be completely necessary to find the one OB you're really comfortable with because your OB may not be on call when you go into labor :(
I like G B's answer :) A lot of your experience is what you make it, and it helps to be surrounded with the birth team who will facilitate what you want. Make sure you tour the maternity ward and talk to the nurses and midwives as well!
