For apartments, make an appt with the Oak Park Housing Agency, its free and they take you to all the best places in your price range. For preschool, Pilgrin Nursery is great, as is concordia's.

would you consider buying? just put my condo on market. i live in river forest, not sure how familiar you are with area, but its town next to oak park and they're pretty much one in same. if you want mls to see on internet or my realtor's name/number, let me know.
