My Mom is gonna be 85 this year God willing. She needs a lady to come and cook for her 3 x per week. My mother is originally from Guatemala, but has lived in California for the past 40 years. It would be helpful if the lady who comes can speak Spanish at least in what concerns food. My Daddy lives at St. Edna's Convalescent home since 2 years ago after a hip fracture. Meals on Wheels is an option that may be able to provide nutritious meals for you Mom. I'm sure they could be found online as I believe they are a nationwide organization. You may be able to contact a local community center that would be able to provide you with more references and referrals as well.
