Another question today. My family thinks the crockpot is only for cheese dip! I'd like to use it for more meals. Any websites you can recommend with EASY, CHEAP recipes?
Thanks again!

Are you on Pinterest? There are so many good recipes on there for the crock pot. Look me up on there and I have a board named fun food. There are some pins that have 35 or so crock pot recipes.
I have to break mine out and try them.

Chicken Tacos:
Chicken Breasts
1 can of Rotel (diced tomatoes and chiles)
1 packet of taco seasoning

Cook on high 4 hours or low 6-8 hours. Shred chicken and mix back into sauce. Serve on tacos! So easy and even my kids love this. I even put my chicken in frozen and it's done in 4 hours on high.

Try www.allrecipes.com and search for crock pot recipes. Pinterest also has a bunch if you're on that site. Even if you just Google it, you will come up with a ton. Good luck! I use my crock pot at least once per week. Love it!

I've even done crock pot spaghetti that was good! AND a turkey breast!

Agree with other's Google crockpot recipes. Pintrest and Foodgawker (2 already mentioned) are my 2 favorites. Allrecipe.com is another.

This very easy recipe came in my crockpot manual cookbook:
Cut up 2 carrots, 1 or 2 onions (slice them, don't chop), and 2 stalks of celery. Put them in the bottom of the crockpot. Put a whole chicken on top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add one cup of water, then sprinkle 1 tsp basil on top. Cook on high for 3.5 to 5 hours. The white meat comes out a bit chalky but it is good mixed with the vegetables. I also just froze some of the white meat to use later in a casserole.

There are lots of web sites with recipes. Just google crock pot recipes and you'll have hundreds from which to choose. I haven't found one site any better than another site.

One was just passsed on to me the other day and I haven't tried it yet, but sounds good. Frozen chicken breasts, mix salsa and taco seasoning together and pour over chicken. I hear it's delicious! You can warm up
tortillas have shredd/cut up chicken for soft tacos. Make some rice on the side. Sounds good. Also, I've seen at all the grocery stores they have CrockPot Recipes Books by the checkout stands. And you can always google recipes for Crockpot. Good luck!

Also, season pork chops and add a can of beef broth. The meat falls of the bone.

I like allrecipes.com.

They have a free and paid portion. I'm on the free side. You can enter your ingredients and they will tell you what recipes use those ingredients.

Good luck to you and yours.
