I am having a terrible time finding a decent OB GYN that I can tolerate that delivers at this hospital. For insurance reasons, I can't deliver at Good Shepherd (they don't accept Blue Choice), and this is where all the doctors that i like deliver!!!!!
With my first child, I went thru 4 different doctors and finally had to settle on one, not because I liked him, but because I was 34 weeks pregnant.
Help!!!!!!! I recently went to Woman to Woman and seen Dr. Perlis, who I thought was amazing, but she only delivers at Good Shepherd.

Dr. Favia delivered my little girl in early December. She is part of the Mercy group (Yao/Zaino/Karney). You do have to see all of the doctors as someone had previously posted, but I really liked them all. The nurses at Woodstock were AWESOME! They were very friendly and helpful to this first-time mom.
Dr. Mary Riggs is absolutely amazing. I know she delivers at NIMC, but not sure of Memorial Medical but definitely worth checking into. She delivered both my boys, I was high risk with both and she was just amazing.
Dr. Cook out of the Mercy center in Woodstock delivered my daughter. He's wonderful.
I used the Dr.s with Mercy Medical Center. They have an office in Woodstock & also Crystal Lake. Dr. Karney, Dr. Yao & Dr. Zaino. They are all women. That is why I went to them.
Not a complete answer to your problem...but I believe Dr Perlis/Woman to Woman may also deliver at St. Alexius in Hoffman Estates. I see them also and I have an insurance that won't let me go to Good Shepherd either. I recently had a minor surgery with Dr. Perlis that was performed at St. Alexius...so maybe check into that option??
My OB is Dr. Zaino. She practices in woodstock and crystal lake and I had my baby at memorial. She is awesome, caring but straightforward-great bedside manner. I had an outstanding experience with this hospital as well. I was completely amazed at the level of care. The only downside to Dr. Zaino is that you have to see each of the 4 network of doctors she works with at least once during your pregnancy so if you happen to go into labor at a time when your doctor is unavailable-one of the others is on call. I didn't mind. I really liked all four of them-Dr Karney, Dr. Hayner, and Dr. Yao. I also ended up having a planned c-section so I chose the date so I didn't run into this issue.
I have used Dr. Stankevych for both of my babies. He has himself, Anne Salamone & Rebecca Rose in his office. Anne & Rebecca are midwifes and also deliver at Memorial Medical.
Dr. Stankevych is really wonderful with a great bedside manner. ###-###-####
