He's wonderful! My son is 18 months and he has food allergies and my daughter is ADHD. He's been very helpful and informative with all the problems cause I know nothing about food allergies. I highly recommend him.
My son's pediatrician is a little SE of Indianapolis, about 9 miles south of 465 on 74 E. and Pleasant View Rd. His name is Wayne Ellis, he is with Pleasant View Family Physician's. He is taking new patients, you can reach his officr at ###-###-####. My son has been through two sets of tubes, asthma, all of it, Wayne is an excellent MD with great credentials; he is a pediatrician as well as an internist, affliated with St Francis and the nurses at the hospital rave about him.
He's an IU graduate, very intelligent and has great recommendations for specialists as well. Good luck with whatever you choose!
I would recommend Southside Peds. also. I used Dr. Vyas (a middle eastern woman) when I had my son in April at St. Francis. I live in Greenfield and have a peds here that has no rights at that hospital. Anyhow, she was WONDERFUL with my son in the hospital, he too has allergies we discoved right away and was jaundice. When we were discharged from the hospital (on a Friay night) she called all weekend to check on Tyler to see how he was doing. She is very wonderful and compassinate. I believe she also has 2 young daughters. I hope everything works out for you! I couldn't imagine if my Peds closed!! GOOD LUCK!

I am an older mom, who took her 4 kids to Dr. Roberta Smith and Dr. Dave Kosten, now located in Greenwood area. Both are excellent. Looks like you have lots of choices of wonderful pediatricians to choose from.

I have two children, ages 6 and 3. My daughter (3) has to often be on breathing treatments during the winter months and sometimes put on oral steroid to help her lungs breathe easier. We go to Kidd Pediatrics and she sees Dr. Shanna Bowman! WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE HER!! She's great w/ both my kids and the office is located off SR 135 and Fairview across from the Fire Station!

I take my son to wonderful Pediatrician, she is in Shelbyville. Dr. Paula Gustafson is her name. My son was visited by Dr. Smith and Old School House Pediatrics when he was born, he was very nice.
Hi, my sons dr. is on the north side but I highly recommend her. I drive there from the east side and think it is well worth it for the well-being of my son. He was a preemie and I couldn't be happier with her meeting all his needs. Her name is Dr. Kelli Hughes and her number is ###-###-####. They are located off of 86th and Township Line Rd connected to St. Vincent's Womens Hospital. There is 1 other dr. now and another one joining in Jan 2007. Good Luck!!
Dr Kosten on S. Meridian. Our son is 18 months old and we have been pleased with Dr Kosten and Dr Smith.
I take my daughter to Mooresville Pediatrics off of 67 in Mooresville, they have been great with her and arn't afraid to send her to a specialist if they arn't sure what is going on. She also has a nut allergy but is allergic only to tree nuts, cashews in particular. She sees Dr. Gilbert (he's a man) they also have a lady pediatrician if your children are use to a female doctor. The nurses are also great!! Mooresville is not too far from Indianapolis, I live in the Speedway area and drive to work in Mooresville whichi is also close to the dr. office and it takes about 20-25 minutes. They also have office hours from 7am to 7pm and weekend hours as well as a nurse line that you can call after hours.
I take mine to Greenwood Pediatric Associates, her Dr. if Dr. Fledderjohn, but they have several in there...They are located off Averitt Rd & Smith Valley area..Number is ###-###-####....
I go to Kidd Pediatrics off of Hwy 135 in Greenwood area. There address is 373 Meridian Parke Lane. Dr Kidd started the practice and we see Dr Shanna Bowman. WE love her! She takes her time with my daughter and is not rushed at all. There are several other doctors in the practice as well. There is an after hours number you can call at any time if you have a question and the Dr will call back. Another thing I like about the practice is it has Disney posters everywhere and all the rooms are Disney themed!!
