I have a LG slide text key board with a touch screen top. by verizon.
I can not figure out how to make Smily faces on the text message area.
People have such cute expressions that they send me.... I don't know how
to use it. I have a function button but there is not any application for a
smile on the letter keys as an option. Does anyone have this phone to
help me ? I just know the basic :0) or :0P ..... But how do I get the YELLOW
happy face, or fun things to add to the texting ??????
someone told me when they put the :) symbol, the cell phone automatically put a yellow smiley face when you sent the text.....try it & see

You have to download the app. I have it on my IPhone it's called emoji and there's a few different free ones. 😄😉👍👌I've only used it on my iPhone, but i'm assuming it'd work fine if yours is a smart phone.📱
ETA; ok they only show up on my iphone so you could see them there but not on a regular computer. Just look up emoji app.
they might get the smiley on the other end.
