I use the Huggies overnights, I swear by them. The smallest they come is a 4, but try them anyway, I started putting them on my daughter at 16 pounds, lifesaver!!!!!!
My twin girls both are leaking thru their diapers at night. They are 16 pounds and currently using #3 pampers. One sleeps on back and come out sides, the other sleeps on tummy and rips lining and comes out top. I have tried huggies too. Nothing seems to work. Does anyone have suggestions. Im tired of changing and washing sheets and pjs everyday. Help!

Have you tried Luvs? My daughter can pee through Huggies and Pampers but has yet to get through Luvs. Plus, luvs are cheaper.
My two year old is still having that problem, so I know how that constant sheet/PJ washing can make you go batty - and you have two!!! We have now switched to the "overnight" diapers and it has made a world of difference. It's not fail proof, but 90% of the time they work. Right now we are using just the Jewel brand of overnight diapers, but I have heard that the Huggies overnights work just as well. Good luck!

I had the same problem with my son until I started using Huggies Overnight diapers. I have never had a wet crib or a leaky mess again!

We have had luck with pampers..move to the next size up? As for sheets, if they are still in the crib, I use a thing called Ultimate Crib sheets for Babies R us. They snap around the bars so you do not need to take the whole bed apart, can do it one handed...they are great and make changing the bed not such a chore.
Try adding a sanitary napkin to the inside of the diaper. Also make sure the ruffles around the leg openings are pulled out correctly and the very top of the diaper is folded inside.
Hi!
My son is 17 pounds and using #3 Kirkland diapers. You can find them at Costco. We used Pampers before and had the same problem. No leaking since we switched. They might work for your girls, too!
Move them up to a size 4. Whenever my son leaked it was because the current diaper size was getting smaller. He is long so most of the time it wasn't about his weight, just that the diapers weren't rising high enough on his belly. I would also suggest pampers cruisers. I have tried all other brands but even pampers baby dry doesn't compare to them. IMO, they hold leaks the best.
Good luck! I hope you find a diaper that works soon!
Hi,
You can go down a size and pull out the sides and make sure the diaper is secure. I promise that will work. You probably thinking the diaper is to small in most cases, no diapers stretch. Try it..
I hope that it helps a little.
Good Luck!

Hello!
You could try adding a cover meant for cloth diapers. They hold leaks in very well and you can just toss it in with the rest of your wash and usually let them air dry. Here's a link to some different kinds: http://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/covers.htm
Good Luck!

Isn't #3 too big? My boy is 16 pounds and using #2 pampers with no problems.
Use an overnight diaper....they are the best. As soon as I switched to those at night, my daughter slept in later. Good luck.
I had the same problem with my daughter. I use Pampers cruisers during the day because they are wider, and my daughter is a chunkier baby. I use Huggies Overnights because they hold so much more overnight, and they have worked out great! Hope that helps!
Try Pamper Swaddlers size 2/3? They have worked great for my 17.5 pound daughter.
Huggies Overnights. Start at size 4 I think, but we used them when Claire wasnt technically ready for a size 4, just put them tighter, worked fine. Pampers dont work, I swear. Claire is 2 now, still using the Overnights. Purple package.
I haven't had any trouble since switching to cloth diapers. You could just use them at night if you aren't up for the up-keep of daily use. It's cheaper too!
PM me if you want more info.
I would try another brand.
Try using Huggies Overnight one size bigger than they are. That has usually worked for my boys.
Try Diaper Doublers. I buy them at Dominicks. They look like extra large Kotex pads. Work like a charm! By the time the baby is diaper size 4 Huggies makes Overnight Diapers.
I always use a size bigger for night time and never have any problems with leaking.
wow this is a hard one since the girls are so small yet. You might try a different timing with the bottles. Liquid in liquid out. Try feeding them earlier at supper time and give it the chance to exit the bottle before bed time. If they fall asleep before finishing their bottles at bed time just fix them what they usuall drink and no more. I would do the same thing for night feedings. You can feed them a big breakfast in the morning if less at night worries you. If your nursing you might want to try expressing some milk before feeding time. It should lesson what you have to offer. It sounds crude but its better than them laying in pee while they sleep. I guess you could also use a diaper liner or maxi pad for more absorbtion but I would fear this would irritate the bottems. Not sure if this will even work but I would try it, good luck.
Huggies Overnight diapers are the best. Or use a size bigger for overnight with your regular diaper.
I used to have the same problem, and I remember it was when they were in size three as well. I switched to pampers premium and that took care of it. I think they hold a few more ounces and that was all we needed.
We use Huggies Overnights (purple packaging) on our 17 lb. and 21 lb. twins. They do great in them. During the day, the smaller one (our girl) is in Pampers size 3 and the bigger one (our boy) is in Pampers size 4.
Good luck!
I always move to the next size up when leaks become regular.
Try going up a size. We use Pampers Baby Dry and our baby sleeps 12 hours at a time without a leak.
my daughter went through a time like that and the cheapest easiest solution was putting plastic pants over the regular diaper. Just rinse in the morning and hang dry.
I just asked a similar question and lots of people of suggested the Huggies overnights diapers. I tried them and they were a life saver! Haven't had to change a sheet or pjs since! They have them at Target and Babies R Us! Good luck!
Are the diapers full, or leaking at the edges? Maybe they just need to be tighter at the waist, and make sure the ruffle is outside the diaper, not tucked under around the leg.
If huggies don't do the job, try another brand. It may just be the way they are fitting their bodies. I liked pampers for my daughter and then at size 3 diapers switched to huggies snug & dry. She is soaking the #3's at night so now I use those during the day, and a #4 at night. The huggies overnight's are great too.
You might try rubber pants too. We use to use a nojo sheet saver for spit ups. If your daughters don't move around a lot yet, you could tie one to the crib where they lay to absorb the pee if it happens.
Try putting a wanted post on freecycle in your area for a couple diapers, that are a different brand. Or see if some friends have any leftovers in the size you need, so you can compare.
Good luck, you'll figure it out. Hope the beds dry up soon.
Is there room for an Always pad in there?
I had the same issue with my son. I used the diaper doubles and also a rubber diaper over his regular Pampers.
Babies R Us has Diaper Doubles. They come in a baby blue package. They look like a maxi pad, but unlike using a maxi pad that one mom suggested, they don't have the plastic backing. We add one to our son's Huggies Overnights nighttime diaper. Some times we even add a second one in a T shape around the waist if I know he has had liquid late at night. Good Luck.
Huggies work good but they have that hard spot right in the front by the belly button, so I stopped using those. My thirteen month old now wears sz 4 Luvs and has been wearing size 4 for 6 months. Never leaked out of his diaper. He's on the small side too (just now hit 20 lbs). We just wrapped the diaper a little tighter. I swear by LUVS, they are cheaper, they're not bulky, and they dont sell horrible when wet.
