looks like my 3 year old got bit on his butt it's very hard around the bite and he has a rash all over his body with a fever I have seven children and the oldest is not here to babysit for me to go to the er but i will if I have to I just thought I'd ask real fast

How high is the fever? Are you sure it is related to the bite? Also are you sure it is a bite and not a staph infection?
Is there an after hours nurse you can contact through your doctor's office, insurance. You could even call the hospital directly. Many of them have an ask the nurse line. If the fever is high and he seems to be having a lot of discomfort I would just take him to the ER with all of the other kids right now. It could be a spider bite or something that could be very serious. Good luck and I hope he feels better soon!

Is there a minor ER clinic near you? Could a neighbor look after the kids? I'd go...a fever with all over rash seems a bit scary to me :/
I am not one to run to the doc with a fever, but the rash, the bite and a fever I would be worried.
Curious what happened with this. Can you post a SWH? I hope he's feeling better -- I would have been contacting the doctor's office for this one.
