Hello ladies. I have some stains on our mattress from using Oxyclean to get out pee smell from our 2 yr old who likes to climb in our bed in the middle of the night and her diaper leaks. It used to leak a lot and the only thing that would take out the smell 100% was Oxyclean. Unfortunately it left a yellow-brownish ring at the edges where it dried. I was wondering if you know of any product that would help get these stains out. We obviously can't use anything that will keep our bed wet for longer than 10 hours. Any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
I know alot of people don't like bleach ~ but I do. My Grandma was a nurse and uses it faithfully and it passed down. I mix water with bleach, just a little small amount of bleach ~ and spray it on the matteresses then wipe down, seems to work well. :) You could also try a small amount of peroxcid on a wet wash cloth.
This might work I used it on my carpet when training a puppy.
16oz. hydrogen peroxide, 4tbls baking soda, 1/4tsp dish soap put in a spay bottle shake well to disolve baking soda, spray the spots let it sit a bit scrub with brush and let dry.
Spray Shout on it and let it sit a few minutes. Then scrub it out with a damp cloth. I've done it and it works great.
I really like to use the pet urine and poop spray from the pet aisle of the pet stores or walmart. I haven't found a brand I like better than another. Soak, soak, soak the stain with it, scrub if necessary. Give it about 15 minutes, then use a wet/dry vac (or borrow one) to suck out the moisture. You can leave the spray in the mattress (without rinsing) or if you'd like you can pour water on and suck it up to rinse the remaining fluid. It should work well! ...or you can buy a zip-up mattress cover :)

I would still use the oxyclean, but rent a wet vacuum from the grocery store, put the oxyclean in the mix and use the upholstrey attachment.
