Need Ideas for Response to Santa Question

Lord help me, I do Elf on the Shelf... (although this year we just put up the tree, so I only have to remember to hide it more 18 days. We won't mention that I forgot to hide it last night and had to scramble this morning--yeah, I'm off to a good start!)

My 4yo has asked the elf if Santa knows the Tooth Fairy. She's hoping the Santa will answer with a little note in her stocking. Any suggestions on cute, creative answers? We have a newborn, so I'm feeling a touch brain dead in the creativity department... Sure, I could scribble out "Yes, we're friends" but was wondering if y'all have some suggestions?

Thanks Mamas!

So What Happened?

Oh, these suggestions are fantastic! Thank you all so much--I especially like the idea of tying it into keeping her room clean! (Boy, when she realizes the truth, it's gonna be reckoning day. It can hear her now, "Heeeey! I kept my room clean and it was you?!" I love it!).

I will do the note up right, fancy & glittery--and for this one I won't try writing with my left hand to hide my handwriting.

Thanks everyone!

"Boy, do I ever know the Tooth Fairy! She's the only reason I have such white teeth, always bringing me toothbrushes because she knows how much I love cookies!!! All of us holiday folks like to get together for big dinners and exchange stories of the children we visit"

Although we do not live close to each other, I do know the grand lady and we meet up at conferences sometimes. She has also been very helpful in supplying news to the Good Children Network as, of course, she often has inside information on which kids keep their bedrooms tidy. Regards, Santa

'You are one smart little girl...I heard you asked about my favorite Fairy...The Tooth Fairy. Yes, she is a good friend of mine. In fact, she is looking forward to visiting you soon...when the time is right. Keep eating those apples. Tooth Fairy loves teeth that love apples. See you soon.
PS Thank you or the cookies you left for me last year. I enjoyed them very much.

My daughter has gone so far as to write a note to the Tooth Fairy and leave it under her pillow with her tooth asking a long list of questions. It took me 2 hours at least to come up with an idea.

I eventually just did a word document with tons of little clip art attached to it to include little purple stars, little fairies, etc. and did a couple of paragraphs answering her. I did also add in there that kids are only allowed 1 letter to the Tooth Fairy per lifetime, (LOL!) so I wouldn't have to go through that every time.

At least you've got a couple of weeks left to come up with something for your daughter. Best of luck!

"Actually I DO KNOW the FAIRY, she stopped by last night to warm up with some hot chocolate and cookies with me and Mrs Claus on her way to some kids houses up here at the North Pole".

I love the responses.. Our daughter has always been very clever.. I had neighbors sign the gift tags from Santa, Mrs. Clause and the elves each year.. I also had to hide her gifts at Great grandfathers home down the street.

So if you want a written note.. make sure to get someone else to do the writing for you..

I write all my notes from Santa using lots of curlicues and swirls - looks totally different from my regular handwriting.

As for Santa knowing the tooth fairy - of course he does! They are good friends and like to have milk and cookies when their schedules allow.

I could hardly believe it when I Googled
"tooth fairy" santa

Yes the tooth fairy and santa have a special bond. They enjoy relaxing on their days off. They used to be married but their marriage was unable to work because they both travel around the world at different times. Mrs.Clause entered the picture when a boy in China lost his first tooth. She was a friend of the tooth fairy and now she is santa's wife. You would think the tooth fairy would be angry but her and the easter bunny had an affair years ago and she felt it was best if they divorced but they have remained friends for years now.

But I don't like the mention of divorce. I really like the response you received from Lola N! Have fun!

I love Julie R's idea on them teaming up, and have added my own tidbits.
I'd also use your computer to "write" the note. Word has some fun and fancy swirly fonts that we've used for notes from the Tooth Fairy.

Merry Christmas!

Of COURSE I know The Tooth Fairy! We've been great friends for years, and we meet at least twice a year to compare notes. "She has been very helpful in supplying news to the Good Children Network as, of course, she often has inside information on which kids keep their bedrooms tidy." She also asked me to leave this toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss in your stocking. Be sure to brush at least twice every day, because clean and shiny teeth are her FAVORITES!!

Hugs and HO-HO-HO -
