My daughter got this for Christmas and we just played yesterday for the first time. The instructions are on the back of one of the gingerbread men. There's one in English and one in Spanish, I believe.
Does anyone have the instructions for this game? I can't find it anywhere online and with all the garbage on Christmas morning, I accidentally threw out the directions and now we can't play. Please help.
Thank you all so much for your help. You are very sweet to take time to help out a mom. Happy New Year! Thankfully we'll be playing now thanks to all of you!

Basically you put all the shapes into the castle. Each person has a gingerbread man. Each person takes a turn to see if their shape can be put on the gingerbread man. If it doesnt fit put the shape back into the castle. First one to have all the shapes wins.
BTW: my game didnt come w/instructions either. :) But I believe thats the way you play. You can email me if you have any more ??'s

Hi B.!
I see that you have gotten the link to get the instructions, so I won't write them out on here...I just wanted to say my 4 & 5 yr olds got this for Christmas as well, and they love it! I hope your littles ones have as much fun playing it as mine do! :)
Blessings~~
We bought one last year, and I think the instructions were on the back of one of the gingerbread people cards. I remember thinking I threw them away too...

OMG! This same thing happened to us last Christmas. It's been a thorn in my side all year everytime my daughter wanted to play.
I too have looked online and have been unsuccessful. This is what I've come up with, I believe each person gets a card and you drop all the shapes in the top and by taking turns, the first person to fill up their card wins.
Each person gets a card and 1 person at a time pulls the lever and if you have the shape that is on the card you put it on the card and its the next persons turn. they do the same. If you dont have the shape thats on your card you put the shape back in the tower and its the next persons turn. The first person to fill up the card first is the winner. Very easy and fun for the kids. my daughter got it last christmas at the age of 3 and she plays it by herself sometimes.
I believe the instructions are on the back of one of the gingerbread men. If not, just match the color/shape of the piece to your card.
Years ago when my kids were little they got Candyland also. There were no instructions. We just rolled the dice and moved the pegs. The one that got around the board first, won. I guess they figured this is a learn to play together and just have fun so it didn't need instructions. I found it a little stupid of the manufacturer.
HA!!! I finally found it! It was buried on the Hasbro site!

that is the direct link to the pdf file for the instructions. They are NOT alphabetically, but it was there!!
Hope this helps!!!!

Object of the game: Be the one to reach the castle at the end of the rainbow trail first thereby rescuing the Kandy King.
How to play the game: Move your gingerbread game piece along the trail according to the corresponding color on the card you drew from the deck. Sometimes you will advance, sometimes you will be sent back, and sometimes you may get stuck on a particular color until you draw that color again. If the card you drew has two of the same color on it just move ahead two of whatever color it is. There is a new rule now though. You can draw two cards and then decide which one is best to use.
