If you still need them there are tons listed on N Dallas Craigslist under the FREE listings!!! I was really suprised at how many were up posted this morning. I guess everyone else is moving also. Good luck
Moms, anyone out there just moved or know someone who just moved and would like to get rid of their boxes? A friend of mine is moving next week and is in need of boxes and can't really afford to purchase new ones. Any help would be great! Lots to move; book and medium boxes would be best but she'll take anything! Thank you!!

I have approximately 18 book boxes that I've emptied during the past week while organizing my office (we moved nearly 4 years ago!). They've been restored to their flat position so will need to be taped back together again to use, but you're welcome to them. I was just going to put them in the trash. Let me know if you're still interested.
I don't have any to offer, however, you can check with department stores. Call them to find out what they have and when to come. I know JCPenney used to let you take them, but you would have to get them early in the morning before they broke them down. Also, if you can find a wine/liquor store...sometimes they do. I know Mr. G's on Coit/15th sets their boxes out in the entryway so you don't have to bug them.
You can also go to liquor stores. they will give away their boxes free - and they have tons!!
I do!!!! It may not be enough, but it will get you started. I am on the border of Allen but in Plano, right near Independence and Hedgecoxe. Send me a personal message if you want my address.
A lot of the boxes are full paper that things were wrapped in.
Check with retail places (even those in the mall or strip centers) big box stores or even the smaller ones. Right now is a great time cause they have alot of shipment for back to school shipment coming in.
Walmart is also a good place to get boxes. They usually restock during the night and have boxes in the morning. You just need to ask in advance so they don't crush the boxes.
ask grocery stores for boxes.
She can try Craigslist. There are always people getting rid of boxes on there. Search "boxes" under the "free" section.
