Can't give you a recommendation for a specific dishwasher just a place to buy it. Try Cole's Furniture and Appliances at 4026 N. Lincoln in Chicago. They are a family owned business that has been around for years. All the guys are very nice and helpful. Good luck.

Go with the Bosch. Consumer report highly recommends and it's worth every penny.

Another vote for Bosch dishwashers. When we moved into our house 7.5 years ago, we bought all new appliances. Every single one of them has needed repairs within those 7.5 years EXCEPT our Bosch dishwasher. We have been very happy with ours. (I hope I haven't just jinxed myself.) Good luck.

Bosch SHE33M0[2]UC - $600, rated by Consumer reports as 79/100. We have this model and LOVE it. We were able to find it on sale and I think we got it for like $475/$500 with free delivery and installation.

When you do buy one, I would suggest buying it at Abt (www.abt.com) in Glenview. Great service, prices, delivery (all over the Chicago area) and professional installation. We got our new dishwasher from them and installed by them and have been very happy with it for over six years now!
