Need Recommendation for a Good OB GYN

I just found out that I am pregnant. This is my second child. My first baby was breech and therefore I needed a c-section. I am opting for a c-section this time as well, but I'd like to switch to a new doctor. I prefer female doctors and I'd like to deliver at Methodist. Does anyone have a good recommendation? All help with finding a new OB quickly is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for all of the reponses thus far. Actually, I used to see Dr. Gallagher @ Seven Oaks Women Center and I loved her! BUT: my new insurance will not let me go to Seven Oaks anymore, they are not in my insurance's network :o(((((.

I was seeing Dr. Lisa Gurwitz during my last pregnancy but she and I just didn't hit it off. I am sure she knows her stuff, but she was very distant towards me (maybe even a bit cold) which isn't exactly what we are looking for when we are pregant. Am I right?

What can I do next?

My doctor is Roberta Krueger and she delivers at Methodist. I am using her for my third pregnancy....due in April and I love her! She is fantastic.
Her number is ###-###-####. I am also like you....this will be my third c-section.

Seven Oaks Women Center. Dr. Heidi Hect is great! My sister also uses her. We love her! I am due in June! It make take you a little while to get into see her, but worth the wait. I have also heard good things about Dr. Gallagher (spelling?)
Good Luck!

I agree with the previous poster. Dr. Heck at Seven Oaks is the best. She was actually voted best in San Antonio by her collegues (at least this is what I understand). She just delivered my second son in December and it was the best birthing experience I have had. Of course I have only one to compare it to and my previous doctor was horrible. I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Heck. If you are pregnant she will accept you as a new patient but if you are just wanting a GYN she is fully booked.

Well I'm not sure if my OB delivers at the Methodist but I go to Dr. Helm at Women partners OBGYN. I think they are all female there at that practice so I would recommend them. They are on the NE side of town.
