I've heard that Dr. Stacy Ulmer-Pinter here in Little Rock is a great ob/gyn. I've met her and she is very sweet and friendly. good luck.
I am five months pregnant and needing to switch to an obgyn that I can feel more comfortable with. My current doctor has a lot of patients and it seems she is never available when I have concerns or questions and that she is handling too many patients to provide the individual attention I really would like as a first time mother. I moved here from Texas last summer, so any recommendations would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks to everyone that responded to my question ! My husband and I finally decided to go with a midwife/water birth. We did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions and we are confident that this is the best way to go.

Cornerstone Clinic on the Baptist Hospital Campus is awesome. You usually do not have to wait very long at all, unless they are so backed up, which is rare. The doctors and nurses treat you like they are your family. Dr. Simmons is my OBGYN and he is about to deliver my 3rd child. He is a wonderful Christian man. He has prayed over my belly on each of my pregnancies, which I thought was very comforting. All the doctors there are actually pretty special. Dr. Singleton is Dr. Simmon's son in-law.
Dr. Richard Wyatt at Baptist Health is amazing. He is a great Christian doctor who will put you at ease. He is very professional, and truly cares about all his patients. I have been with him for about 15 years, and I love him dearly!
I recommend DR. CINDY HUBACH. I love her...she has been my ob/gyn for 8 years, delivered both of by kids. She is great!! She is very sweet. I even have five friends that go to her too. Everyone says that they like her. Even the nurses at Baptist in the Labor and Delivery Ward like her. She is at Central Clininc for Women.
I don't know who your going to, but I went to Cornerstone Clinic for Women. They are across from Baptist Hospital. There are many doctors there, women and men. It is a christian based center and I love each and every doctor there. I had different doctors look at me and loved them all. Dr. Singleton delivered my son and he has like 10 kids...very understanding man and his father is the owner of the clinic. So it's a family based clinic as well. All for Kids is where I take my son now. They are also a christian based facility. I wouldn't go anywhere else but these two places.
I had to go to a fertility specialist to get pregnant, but when I was finally pregnant that doctor told me to choose an obgyn to go to who would continue seeing me. Dr William Harrison is someone that a friend suggested and my fertility doctor said that he was a very good doctor and friend of his and thought that was a great idea. He is in practice by himself so the chances of you going into labor and some other doctor whom you've never met delivering your baby are very slim. Dr harrison is wonderful and very sincere. He actually has photo albums in his office of all the babies he's delivered over 20 something years. People still send pictures of their kids after they've grown up. He and his nurse Lisa are wonderful. If I ever had a question I had no problem getting in touch with he or his nurse. Other friends say they always have a problem with their doctor or nurse calling them back. If he ever thinks there is something going on with you or the baby, he will run tests and show concern. He doesn't just assume that things are okay. He doesn't take any chances. I absolutely love Dr Harrison, he is a wonderful person. He actually remembers his patients for years to come. My husband and I will be trying to get pregnant again soon and Dr Harrison will definitely be our doctor. His office is in the Doctors Building across from St. Vincent hospital. He can deliver at Baptist or St. Vincent. I hope this helps.
