Need Recs for Birthday Party 5 Year Old

My son is turning 5 this summer & I'd like to get some recommendations for birthday party ideas- something either outside the house (so I have as little work to do as possible) or at home. Ideas I have thought about include the zoo, gym (swim or gymnastics), but does anyone know of any cool places in SE Massachusetts?

Or if something at the home, can you recommend a vendor (i.e. magic show, science show)? I thought a pirate party might be fun but I'd prefer to get a good recommendation rather than just google it.

Thanks for all the recs - I have heard of Pumpt it UP but we have already been to THREE parties in 5 months there so I was hoping to find something different. Even though my son would LOVE to have his party there.

What can I do next?

Hi!

We had our daughter's party at Gymboree and all the kids had a blast! They do parties for kids up to 5 years old and they're really good at parties for multiple age groups (if you have siblings or cousins or something like that coming). They do absolutely everything so no work for you!! They also can do themes so you could still do a pirate party and they make up activities for the kids to do on their equipment like walking the plank or whatever. Have fun!!

I took my daughter to her friend's 5th bday party. A guy came to do a reptile show - it was awesome. The kids and the parents got to hold all sorts of animals; not just reptiles either. He had a hedgehog, lop eared rabbit, and a chinchilla! I got his card he was so good. Here's the info.

We also had our daughter's 5th at Kidz Planet in Easton. Very well done with minimal stuff for me to do.
Good luck!

How about a bowling party?Ficco's in Franklin Ma has reasonable and well-organized party packages.Kidz Planet in Easton Ma is an indoor playground, gymnastics place w/ a rock climbing wall etc. that is a lot fo fun.I've been to 1 party at "Pump it Up" in Franklin and thought it was just okay and was told it was quite pricey.Good luck planning..

Its pricey, but my 5 year old son has been to two parties (and has been invited to a third) at a place called Pump It Up in Franklin. It is absolutly amazing and the kids have a blast. Check out their website for packages, etc.
