My dryer stopped working tonight... yikes! Need recommendations for repair service in Arlington Heights/Buffalo Grove/Palatine area ASAP.
Dryer is a Kenmore circa 1999.

Thank you for your responses. I called Priority Appliance because they had availability (was able to book online) and they were local, took credit cards, were registered with the BBB and guarantee parts & labor for 1 year.
They came today. Unfortunately, it was the motor about a $300 repair and I can get a new dryer for under $500. Seeing that it was almost 10 years old, I just paid for the service call and went to Abt ;-).
Anyone who is handy and would like it let me know. I have the matching washer for sale too.

I have had great response from Priority Appliance Repair at ###-###-####. Also if you have the recent small AT&T yellow pages Plus, there is a coupon on page 37.
Since Kenmore is a Sears product, I would recommend calling them. They will also apply part of the service cost to a new dryer if it is not reasonable to repair the current one. They have come twice to repair our appliances. They were very professional.
