How about hummus with pita bread slices? I know that has the potential to be messy, but kids love to dip things. Put the hummus in very small dixie cups and give them pita triangles.

How about tiny Ham & cheese sandwiches - use cookie cutter to make them Heart shaped. Really you could also do mini peanut butter and jelly's and cut Hearts out too.

What about mini hamburgers or a small hamburger cut into pieces? Hot sauce, hash browns, hazelnut spread, hominy or hominy grits, ham and cheese hoagie, hearts of palm, hot wings, hot cocoa, havarti cheese, hollandaise sauce and my personal favorite - Hershey bars!

I'd get some of those miniature weiners (hot dogs) and put them in a crock pot with maybe a little bbq sauce, bring some plastic toothpicks for the kids to get their baby "hotdog" out with. Get some hummus (look for a flavor that would be kid friendly) and some crackers to go with. Maybe take in a bottle of locally grown Honey and some miniature bread to go with and make little honey bread snacks.
What a fun idea!

Hummus (the best is homemade - you just use a can of chick peas - easy)
Honey with apples and yogurt (best with Greek yogurt - yum)
Heart shaped anything (use cookie cutters - whole grain bread with any 'he'althy spread.
While hot dogs start with h I would consider them inappropriate for a preschool class as many parents (me included) do not feed them to our children - same for ham.
Halva is yummy but I have always considered it candy - wouldn't be permitted at our preschool.
Hardboiled eggs sound great - you could devil them to spice them up a bit

This one was fun to read but I had to laugh at the people that threw in suggestions of snacks starting with H because of the brand name or the name given to a recipe. Cute but not in the spirit of the education.

Stick with the suggestions where that food is named with an H. Hummus is so good for you, that I think it is a good way to introduce kids in this area to it. It's wildly popular elsewhere. A staple. Some stores have many tastes (garlic, roasted red pepper, etc etc). You use it as a spread on cracker or veggies (as if it were a thick ranch dip or celery filling, etc).

The only other thing I can think of is: hot dogs.
