Need Someone to Care for My Child Full Time in Their Home

I'm too far away from you and finally got my last child started in Early Childhood, but I just wanted to say Bravo to your doctor for making his wise assessment. I am more convinced each year that charter school would be a better option than watching my four smaller children pick up one illness after another. It can really damper education and your work enviroment to be unsure of the effects of your daycare. Ask your local hospital if they have a childcare center, if finding a home provider is not working. I will pray you find the right one for Maddie.

my name is A. I am 26, a mommy of 2. 7 year old girl and a 27 month old boy. I do home daycare I currently have my son and daughter of course when she gets home from school and my cousins son who is 3. I'd prefer to keep it small to have more one on one interaction. I have been a nanny before and worked in daycare centers(prefer my own home) much more relaxed and personal. I live in antioch which is about 10 mins or so from grayslake(our grandparents live there) and we go to lake forest peds so it takes us about 30 mins or so to get there. Try contacting Lake County Home Daycare Network and they can send you a list of day care homes in your area. I know the president of the Network lives in Grayslake and her name is Wendy Konstant her phone number is ###-###-#### and I know she can help you.
If you don't have any luck there you can also contact DCFS and they can give you a list of names for people in your area.
The YWCA also has the same service.
