Hi all-
I am just starting to plan ahead a little. We have lived in Keller for 10 years. But, my husband and I lived in the Lewisville area for a couple of years (about 10 years ago). Well, my gorgeous and wonderful OB/GYN practices out there and delivers through Lewisville Medical Center.
Since Tanner was my first (and I had more time on my hands back then)- I went ahead and delivered him in Lewisville even though it was far away.
But this time around, when the time comes, I would like a new OB/GYN- that I really like and that delivers through Baylor Grapevine.
Anyone have any suggestions- Please only suggest if you really like(d) yours.
I have gone to Dr. Gagnon at the North Texas Womens Health Care Center there in Keller for probably more than 10 years. He delivered my daughter 5 years ago. He delivers at Baylor Grapevine now which I hear is very nice, my daughter was delivered at Harris HEB because his office used to be in Euless. I will still drive to Keller or Grapevine to see him and his staff and I live in Azle and work in Euless just because I love them so much. I was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer and they have been so wonderful and thoughtful.

My mom worked L&D at Baylor Grapevine and sent me to Dr. Rost - love him! My mom also likes his partners Mendez & New. You need to like the entire group becuse you never know who you will see at the hospital. They all like to deliver their own patients, but I was in the hospital over the weekend for both babies and the on call doctor (Mendez with my son and New with my daughter) took great care of me.

Trust me, stick with your original doctor. I went back to my Lewisville doctor after a really bad experience at Baylor Grapevine. Do not go to Drs. Gagnon or Kilianski with offices in Keller and Grapevine. I made that mistake and didn't get Dr. Gagnon when the time came. He sent me to the hospital on a Friday morning to be induced by Kilianski, even though I was I labor, and to speed things up was given pitocin with no epidural. The baby started coming out, and I will never go to Baylor Grapevine again.

I go to Comprehensive Women's Healthcare at Baylor Grapevine. I see Dr. Kerry Neal. I absolutely LOVE him. He has a great bedside manner and is just awesome. When I had my daughter he cleared the room the day after delivery b/c we were having issues so we could talk privately ( myself, husband, and him). I can't say enough good things about him. The # to his office is ###-###-####. If you choose him tell him J. Anderson referred you--and no I don't get anything for the referral.
Good luck

Dr. Vaughan of North Texas Women's Health Care, also practices with Drs. White, Kilianski, and Gagnon. I've been seeing him since we moved here from Chicago 5 years ago and I like him a lot, he and my husband have similar outside interests so they kind of bonded over that. He's seen me through some minor fibroids, infertility treatments (including sending me to Center for Assisted Reproduction after we determined I needed a little more help than they could provide at a regular OB/GYN's office) and pregnancy and he delivered my son. Like other posters have said they have offices in Keller across from Keller Town Center and at Baylor Grapevine. I also hear fabulous things about Dr. White, he released me from the hospital so I have interacted with him a little and he's got a great bedside manner.

I highly recommend Dr. Michael Sims. He is located at Baylor Grapevine. He is a very calm and understanding doctor. I never feel as if I am asking a stupid question or that he is in a hurry. He has taken care of me through the birth of my first daughter, a miscarriage, the birth of my twins (son / daughter) and my hysterectomy. During each event I always felt as if I was his main concern. His staff is just as wonderful. I took my oldest daughter (2 years old at the time) to every appointment with the twins. Dr. Sims and the staff always welcomed her and made her feel special. He was very understanding and compassionate when I lost our second baby at 12 weeks (the babies heart had stopped). When I then became pregnant with twins, I was considered high risk due to my miscarriage and age. Due to a famiy history of Down Syndrome, I wanted to have an Amnio done with the twins. The doctor that I was refered to would only do an Amnio on multiples if his partner was present. The day before my Amnio, the partner had an emergency that took him out of the state. That morning when I infomred Dr. Sims that my Amnio had been canceled, he offered to come down stairs and assist Dr. Grahm perform the Amnio if my husband and I were still set on having it done. At the last minute we decided not to do the Amnio, but I have never forgotten his willingness to come and assist. I now have 3 healthy and beautiful children ages 9, 6 and 6.

I love my OBGYN. His name is Dr. Joseph Kilianski and he has offices in both Keller & Grapevine and delivers at Baylor-Grapevine. He is VERY knowledgeableand specializes in high-risk pregnancies. His sense of humor is a little dry, but hey... I'm not looking for a comedian when I deliver my baby. He will watch your weight gain closely during the pregnancy (a good thing for me since I am a small person and gained like 65+ pounds with my 1st and was miserable) but that bothers some people. He's not mean about it, but will tell you if he thinks you should watch what you are eating more. Anyway, I highly recommend him. His nurse is wonderful, he always takes time to answer questions and I have heard (from a friend who is a nurse) that he is well respected by the nurses at Baylor Grapevine. His number is ###-###-####. They also have a website- www.myobg.com. I've also heard good things about the other doctors in the practice.

I use Dr. Rebecca Robert and her office is right inside Baylor Grapevine, where I will be delivering in Jan. I was actually referred to her by another Mom on here. Her number is ###-###-####. One thing I really like about the practice is that no matter what doc is on call at night (during the week) whoever your doctor is will deliver your baby. Her other 2 partners are men and I haven't met them except in passing but they seem nice. I also love her nurse practitioner,Kathy and her nurse that rooms patients (I forgot her name). Another big plus is her sono tech, Janet. She is soooo good and sooo nice!! I did have a horrible experience with the group that covers for hers sometimes on the weekend and his name is Dr.Gagnon. He is rude and inconsiderate and wouldn't take my dog to him. His partner Dr. Vaughan was really kind, though. They are located next door to Dr. Robert. Hope this helps.

Having moved to TX 1.5 years ago, I didn't know any doctors in this area. My husband's co-worker suggested Dr. Kerry Neal @ Comprehensive Women's Healthcare when I became pregnant, so I went with him. I really had a great experience w/ him because 1) he takes the time to listen, 2) he takes the time to answer, 3) I like his sense of humor and 4) when one of my twins was stillborn, he was really compassionate and caring of the situation.
There are other doctors and nurse practitioners in this practice as well, but I don't know them so I can't say anything about them. But I have had great experiences w/ Dr. Neal's nurses as well.

Hello T. -
I absolutely love my OBGYN. Dr. Troy New at Grapevine Baylor. ###-###-####. I have been going to him for years. He helped me through my miscarriage and then the birth of my son. In fact, going to him today for a preconception appointment. My husband and I are starting to try for #2. He is absolutley wonderful. In all the time that I have gone to him, I have only had to reschedule once (He had to go to emergency delivery.) He talks with you about everything. Answers all my questions and helps to put my mind at ease. Hope this helps.

I'm sure everyone in Grapevine will be contacting you with the name of Dr. Barbara Coulter-Smith, who practices with Women's Integrated Health Care. Her office is located right in the parking lot of Baylor. Although I have not used her as an OB--I'm a bit beyone that : )--she's a super GYN and I know does a big business in babies. One of my good friends used them and delivered in August at Baylor Grapevine, and when their situation turned a bit scarey, everyone there was super helpful and it turned out wonderful. I'd look her up if I were you.
Hugs,

I just recently found a doctor who has an office at the Baylor Grapevine hospital and one in Keller. Dr. Kilianski. I believe he's in the same office as Dr. White someone mentioned previously. I got his recommendation from this website. I saw him in July when I got pregnant and he saw me through my miscarriage, D&C, etc. He's been absolutely wonderful. Very caring, gentle, sweet. He has truely been a blessing! I loved my old OB in Arlington (I changed when I got pregnant because my old OB no longer delivered babies). I didn't think I could find anyone to even measure up to him. Dr. Kilianski has far surpassed any of my expectations!

Hi T.- I LOVE Dr. Angelo Mendez in Baylor Grapevine Women's Facility. I have seen him almost 10 years now and he has delivered my baby as well as numerous of my friends' babies. One thing I have always loved about him, beyond his calm disposition, are his two nurses: Bonita and Yossi. They are all incredible and get to know you personally, you are never just rushed in and out! He practices in the same office as Dr. Rost and Dr. New (I have read some other comments). Their number is: ###-###-####

She works with four other female ob/gyns right next to Baylor Grapevine. The name of the group/place is Women's Integrated Healthcare. I know three other girls who've had her and recommend her as well. Good luck!

Hi T.,
I live in Keller also and I've lived here for 30 years (my whole life!) I go to Dr. Gagnon with North Texas Women's Healthcare. He has two locations-Keller and Grapevine (in the hospital). He delivers at Baylor Grapevine. I've had 3 kids with 3 different doctors and would recommend Dr Gagnon over any of them! He actually delivered me when I was born in 1978, so he is an older man, but he and his staff are very kind. I had some problems with my pregnancy and ended up delivering my son 5 weeks early, but he took very good care of me and was very attentive to every little issue that came up. While I was in the hospital during the 3 DAYS I was in labor, I saw two of his partners. One of them (Kilianski) I wasn't very impressed with, but the other (can't remember his name) was great also. His phone number is ###-###-####. I hope you give him a try!

I absolutely adore my OB/GYN. I am an older mother (high-risk) and he was extremely compassionate, understanding, and informative through the whole process. He made me feel like I was his main focus when he was with me in the examination room, delivery room, and later operating room for a c-section. Anyway, his name is Michael A. White and he is at North Texas Women's Healthcare. He has an office in Keller as well as Baylor Grapevine so he is well positioned for you. He can be reached at ###-###-####.
