I believe the man's name is John Tyler and Assoc. He teaches swimming and also CPR classes. Very wonderful company to work with. Sorry I don't have his phone number.
Does anyone know of a childrens swim school in the los angeles area?
Thanks to all of you for your suggestions!!! We tried the parent-tot class at the Lenny Krayzelburg Swim School and LOVED it!!! Everyone there was so nice and we loved the teacher. They have a great method and I would highly recommend it. Not to mention how cool it was to see all the babies floating. Check out thier website, it has some neat videos. www.lennykswim.com

can you narrow down your area? there is the lucky duck swim school in gardena. i think you should contact the public pool local to your area and see what their swim classes begin/cost/etc.

We go to Australian Swim School. They have a few locations around LA. Also, pick up an LA Parent magazine (or check their website) for a swim directory.

The YMCA is good... Also there is a company called Head Above Water... I think they are www.headabovewater.net.
Have fun!
Pasadena aquatic center is awesome!! I commute from Burbank just to go. Beautiful facilities and great instructors. We've gone the last two years, this will be our third. I don't know where you live but if it's not too far I would consider. Bonus, Kidspace is walking distance (great children's museum.)
