Okay I actually have a two part question:
I live in the North FW/Saginaw area, 820 & 35, and I would like to find a studio for my daughter to take dance lessons. It would be nice if they offered a variety of classes like ballet, hip hop, jazz etc. Also she wanted to join the girl scouts, I went to their website a long time ago & sent an email via their website stating I wanted info about how to get her to join & never got a response back. Does anyone know of another way I can get info? TIA
All Star Dance Academy -- on Beach Street, a couple miles south of 820. My sister, who is 16, started there when she was 2 and is still there. My daughter, 6, just started this past Tuesday. Tiffany Morgan, the owner, graduated HS with my husband and I knew her sister in HS...great people!! They offer ballet, tap, jazz, tumbling, hip-hop, pom, drill team prep, etc. Here's there website...

Try your local parks and recreation office (city). They offer great and affordable intro to dance and many other programs...NRH isn't too far from you - tons of classes in gymnastics, dance, art, sports and more. Scouts, parks and recreation may have information, the school will too. Good luck!
There is a dance studio behind walgreens off Saginaw Main, I have only seen it when filling perscriptions and have not checked it out. Also I don't know how old your daughter is, but I think girl scouts start in kindergarten and the school should have info. Whatever you find out, please let me know as I have a very young daughter but would like to have an idea for later. Thanks and good luck.

My daughter attends jazz class at Kids Who Care, Inc. They
do offer a variety of classes, depending on quantity. (they have to have a minimum signing-up). I believe their jazz classes start up in September. They are located at the Scott theatre. Its a great program. Go to www.kidswhocare.org to find out more about them.
My daughter is currently a Junior Girl Scout who will be "bridging" to Cadet this year. You can find out more information by calling them directly at ###-###-####, their admin office if near Hulen and 20.
the fine arts program at Lake Country Christian School includes dance, is after school, and great...###-###-####.
We love Studio One. I think someone else sent you the website address. This is our second year as well, and my daughter loves going. The classes are small and all three teachers are wonderful and very patient! They offer tap, hip hop, ballet, and jazz. I'm not sure what age you need, but they just started their fall classes this week.

Try King and Roberts Dance Studio. www.kandrdance.com They offer all of those class as a combo class for the smaller ones, then they are seperate classes.
I used to be a Girl Scout leader in this area. The Fossil Creek Community has gone through a lot of changes....but there's no excuse for them not returning your call. If they want to recruit then they better step up their customer service skills. JMO

My daughter (who has mild CP and doesn't move well) took private lessons at Encore Dance Studio in Saginaw a couple of years ago. That was fun for her and the teacher was terrific. Not sure if you're looking for private, but it's available there.
As for girl scouts, they usually start up in the fall and info is usually sent through the school. At least that's how it was when we did the Girl Scout thing!

I used to work for Circle T GS Council in a shop. You can try calling the Northeast Service Center at ###-###-####. The shop's staff would know who to connect you with for sure. I did see that the NE Service Center closes from 1:30 to 2:30 from time to time also. Hope this helps!

My daughter is going into her 2nd year of dancing at Studio One Dance Studio here in Keller. They are located on Park Vista and Basswood. They are a christian studio and have all the classes that you are looking for. They offer smaller classes so there is more individual attention in the classes themselves.
