Wish I could recommend a great PCP, but I'm not all that thrilled with mine.
While I was pregnant with my second son, I had gallbladder problems. I don't recall my stomach getting hard or having "weird" BM, but I did have horrible pain, no appetite and I vomited frequently during the attacks. Like your symptoms, they disappeared after a day or so, but came back a few days later. Do you notice more problems when you eat really fatty foods? If so, your gallbladder may be the culprit, but as I'm no doctor, you really should see yours, even just to get a referral to a gastroenterologist. They can do ultrasounds to see if there is fluid around your gallbladder (which indicates poor function).
I saw Dr. Joycelyn Theard. It was easy to get in to see her as she keeps pretty late evening hours, but I did generally have to wait a while at each appointment (about an hour).
Hope you can get some answers soon!
