I have been going to the Green Oaks clinic in West Fort Worth for about 5 yrs. I like it there because I can always get an appt the same day, usually within an hour or two from when I call. They are really nice and friendly and have never had any problems with them. However, I don't have a regular pediatrician for my kids. I have only seen the pediatrician 3 times in 5 yrs. We are mostly seen by her CNA's, which is fine, but I'd like to have someone consistent who knows me and my kids. I heard alot of great things on this website about other pediatricians. I heard about Dr. Richard LaMere and I'd like his address/ phone#. If anyone can let me know, I'd appreciate it. And let me know about other pediatricians in downtown or west Ft. Worth. Dr. Lamere was absolutely the best. But, he retired as of Jan. 2008 and has moved up north to another state. His associates are all great. Maybe you should call the practice and see if you can get in with one of them. The telephone # is ###-###-#### and their office is located in the Child Study Center on Lancaster.
T. try calling differnt offices. If you get a recording when you call, that could mean that office sees a large number of patients. As a result, doctors use nurse practioners, and physcian assitants to see many of their pts. If you call and get a live person ,talk to them if they have time. Tell them your concerns. Most will be extremely helpful. Try looking for a doctor with a private practice. This helped me , while searching for a doctor for my son.
I have been going to Fort Worth Pediatrics for 8 years now. I always see my doctor unless she is on vacation. They also have weekend clinics and I like all the doctors there. I get in the same day and I really love them. I travel from the HEB area because I like them so much. We see Dr Guthrie and the number is ###-###-####.

I use Fort Worth Pediatrics too. Dr. Senevey was my pediatrician when I was a kid, and that's the only place I've ever taken my daughter. My sister uses them for her kids too.

anyway..I really like him and his nurses...we have also seen some of the other drs there and i do like the female dr as well i think her name is dr. crawford...
the name of the practice is ft. worth pediactrics...they have multiple offices...the thing i really like about them as well is that they have what they call night clinic which is if your kid gets sick during the day and u work...they are open until about 7pm everynight (thats when u might see a different dr..they take turns) and they are also open Sat and Sun 800am until 12noon..

I use Kid Care Pediatriacs in Keller, they also have an office in Ft. worth (Summerfileds) Dr. Timothy Fricker is her doctor, he's young, but very smart! His father was a heart specialist, so he comes by his practice naturally. The office staff is very nice, and the Doctor always see's your child, unless he is on vacation, than another doc. will see them. Appointments are always that day or the following morning.
LWe see another dr. in LaMere's office. My kids have seen him before, and he is great. My experience in 8 years has been great with the doctors. Occasionally, I get a little flack from one lady on the staff, but I would definitely add my recommendation. I always see my pedi for check ups and for most sick visits. When I do see the Nurse Practitioner, my kids are always excited. She is very experienced and great with the kids.
