Hey mom,
I always try to get my boys in a routine right away.
If your nursing, Don't turn on the lights at night, this way they don't get days and nights confused.
I always bring the baby in bed with me and nurse, and then return them to the bassinette afterwards,
If he cries I hold his hand and offer a pacifier.
but try not to lift him up unless its necessary.
Wrap him tight in a receiving blanket. this usually keeps them warm and secure.
Make sure your drinking enough fluids and eating right so your able to nurse longer and the baby feeds better.
I always do both breasts which ends up being about 4 oz pumped.
Also remember that Garlic and onion in foods passes thru the breast milk ( I always forgot this)
And then when you wake up in the morning wait 30 minutes before waking the baby,
this way you have a few minutes to get ready and spend time with your toddler getting him settled and having a little one on one time
and the baby gets in the habit of waking at a certain time.
extending his days. and tiring him out.
Last is try having them both nap at the same time.
