Does anyone know of any low cost health insurance. I work 2 jobs and go to school, since I have to part time jobs I am not offered insurance. I have applied for some dental insurance thru Oxford but still don't know what I will do for Hosp, Check-ups, and OB-Gyn. I live in Union County go to school in Essex, any suggestions? Thanks

What can I do next?

Have you tried applying for medicaid? You can qualify for free or low cost health care, go to any hospital and inquire about it or contact you local social services office.

I also live in Union County the best thing for you to do is apply through your city welfare office and see what they tell you about Medicaid for low cost insurance but dental is not covered through them. You may not want to tell them that your working two jobs though.

There is a state provided health care coverage. I believe it is called New Jersey Family Care. Try looking into that.

Try NJ Cares. It is a state sponsored health insurance plan based on yor income. You have to make a minimum and no more than the maximum according to the number of people in your family. They have from no premiums to very small premiums and from no deductibles and co-pays to $5 and up.

Good luck,
R.
