Congratulations! I agree with everything I have read in your advice. Being a business owner can leave you strapped for time also, especially when you are commission based! How much time do you have to make these? Are you wanting someone to help you? Don't sell yourself short as a "non-crafty" person. Few of us are innately "crafty". It takes someone (or lots of someones) to teach us these skills. It is very possible to seem crafty without a ton of effort if taught by a good teacher of a particular craft. Anyway, I was married over 10 years ago and was able to do my entire wedding (including flying in 13 family members from various parts of the US, a wedding, reception, hotel accommodations for 2 nights for over 30 people, decorations, flowers, favors, photography, video, etc. - the WHOLE thing for less than $5,000). No one would have ever guessed it was a "budget" wedding. I have always thought the "traditional" ($20,000 or $30,000+ still 10-12 ago) weddings were outrageous and made it my personal quest to do fabulous weddings on a budget. The internet and mail order can be a HUGE help. Friends and family can be great resources as well. People who have "been there, done that" are great assets. I'd be happy to help you if you like. Please feel free to contact me if you want more information.
