Have any of you ladies used one of these? Do they work?

Check out the Amazon reviews. Seems this is one expensive hoax.
My mother has one. She said it has worked on facial hair, but it's an arduous task and apparently, it's a stinky process. She said she could not fathom using it on legs or underarms, because of the time involved. She inherited hers and said that given to her it's great, but if she bought it, she'd be thoroughly disappointed.
I've tried different things and bottom line...Tweezers work great for temporary results and laser works best for permanent results. Love the fact I had some laser. It reall is great.
Don't waste your money. Seriously, if you lived near me, I'd just give you mine. You'd still be wasting your time, though. Don't bother.
I bought one, was very excited, then so disappointed that I returned it.
It stinks while its working, a burning hair smell. It doesn't hurt, but isn't very effective. It leaves stubble that you are supposed to use a buffer disk to rub off. I rubbed forever and all I got was stubbly ashy skin! It looks smooth but is not smooth to the touch.
I never tried it on my face, I will stick with the pros for that. It may work on facial hair, but I doubt it.
