I recently moved to Castle Rock (from Arizona) and looking for a good OB GYN nearby. Does anyone have any recommendations for someone who is taking new patients?

I also recommend South Denver OB/GYN. I have seen Dr Bergstrom for the past 7 years. But all of the Doctors are amazing. Their office is in Castle Rock and they deliver at SkyRidge.
i highly recommend south metro obgyn. they have an office at sky ridge hospital, which is the closest hospital to castle rock.

Welcome to Castle Rock! It is such a wonderful town. I second everything that Tiffany said below. Ridgegate Ob-gyn is great! I just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in June and Dr. Stallworth is my doctor. He is such a happy, calm and caring doc. He delivered my son by c-section. He made the whole experience seem so easy. The nurses at Skyridge were raving about his work through the c-section. I am not sure how you feel about a male doc but he is very professional yet personable. Whenever you do an exam with him another female nurse is in there with you. But if you prefer a female doc, Dr. Zart is great as well. She is in the same office. Good luck in your search!

I would highly recommend Dr Furr ###-###-#### He is on the south side of Park Meadows on Kimmer Drive.
He is awesome! I had an emergency c-section and of course my midwife couldn't perform that operation. I had never met Dr Furr before that day and would you know every day for the 4 days I was in the hospital he can to see me and spent at least a hour talking with me. I have never been to a male ob/gyn before, but this Dr is so great! It's worth the drive!

Congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome to Castle Rock. I was in your situation a few years ago, after moving here from San Diego. As far as I am aware, there is 1 OBGYN in Castle Rock and they didn't accept my insurance at the time. I ended up finding Ridge Gate OBGYN: Dr John Stallworth, Dr Melissa Zart and Dr Elise Chu. They recently opened a satellite office in Castle Rock. So you might be able to be seen there too. They are all 3 wonderful doctors. I especially liked Dr. Stallworth. He is an amazing person, has a wonderful bedside manner and he has so much experience to back it all up. He is very flexible and he is always calm, cool and collected.
His administrative staff is top notch and always polite. Anytime there was a concern about the pregnancy I never hesitated to call - big or small, someone was always there to welcome me to be seen by one of their doctors or the nurse practioner.
I was 100% happy with the entire prenatal experience, delivery and postpartum.

Ridgegate OB-Gyn at Skyridge is outstanding. Dr. Zart devivered my babies and she is one of the best doctors I've ever had. The practice only has three doctors, so you won't have to 6-7 doctors like you do at larger practices. (and they are all great, 2 women, 1 man)

I have been going to Dr. Charles Giarratana's practice since my last baby was born (7 years), and I like them. Haven't had any physical problems, so I can't comment on how they respond to difficult situations. The staff is extemely pleasant.
