The problem is that lots of OB's will SAY they are willing to give a VBAC, but very few really mean it. The best way to tell is to look at their Csection rates. Get it in writing. Anything above 10% is WAY too much.
Also, the more interventions they are comfortable with (internal monitoring, breaking your water, pitocin, etc., etc.), the more likely you will end up with a csection. I don't know why you are high risk, but I would strongly encourage you to look into using a hospital based midwife. A few months ago I would have recommended Midwest Midwifery because their VBAC rates used to be very good (not sure about now), but they are lately very sketchy, in my opinion. I used them for my first VBAC 19 months ago, but chose a homebirth last month because I felt they were not as open to it as they were a year and a half ago.
