Holy moly our family is finally going to Disneyworld this weekend and through next week. We have been saving for this trip for FOUR years. Can you tell I am excited. LOL

Anyway my question is this can you buy those fan mister things at target or walmart? I have been looking and have yet to find any. I really dont want to buy then at disney but will if I have too. Any other stores I can check?

Thanks in advance ladies and gents and I hope all of you are having an amazing summer.

What can I do next?

All you need to do, is buy a spray bottle. Any ol' kind.
And fill it with water. Then mist yourselves when you need to. The natural air around you will then cool you off.
You don't need to buy those fan-mister things.
Here in Hawaii, we just use spray bottles.
Easy and found anywhere.
And cheaper.

The stores outside of Disney do carry them. Best advice would be if you are staying for a week take a day off away from the park in the middle. Its just such a relaxing by the pool day. Makes the vacation that much more enjoyable.

Walmart sells a handheld fan that also mists. They are found in the hardware section around the normal fans and cost about $10.

EVERY store in Orlando has a Disney section. I've seen those fans at bed bath and beyond.
Added: I use to live in Orlando lol that's how I know all the stores have Disney stuff

The $20 is totally worth it . If it breaks , they replace it , refill it etc. The ones at disney work great . I have never found one that works as well , really .Its a waste of money to buy any other ones . Have a magical trip ! Don't forget to go to allears.net to find great tips !

By the way , looks like a bit of rain in Orlando this weekend . Don't forget to get the dollar store rain ponchos before you go !

Yes, I've seen them at Walgreens for $8 (though it's been a few years).

One of the biggest arguments my husband and I ever had at a theme park was when I bought each of my sons a $20 battery operated spray bottle with fan. :P He thought that was nuts. And it was!

Another fun thing to do is go to the Walmart close to Disney. If I remember correctly they have a big Disney section with lots of stuff, and it's much cheaper than the theme park items.

Good luck and hope you guys have a wonderful time! How awesome!!!

ETA: Now that I think about it I think Mandy is right . . . check Walgreens and other stores in Orlando too. I'm not a huge fan of Walmart (ugh) but I did like their Disney section.
