I definitely sympathize with you. I pray that everything really is ok and that you get some relief soon.
I had pain with my 1st, I don't think quite to the level of yours but it was bad enough. I went to the doctor and the ER a couple of times about it and was always sent home saying that it was "round ligament pain".
Ended up on bed rest myself for several months.
Turns out that I had a fibroid that was growing with the pregnancy and THAT was what was causing all my cramping and abdominal pain.
Later on down the road, around 26 weeks, I was in UNBEARABLE pain. Whew! :-) I'm hurting just thinking about it again. Called my doc and he said that it was just my fibroid again and if I couldn't deal with fibroid pain then I certainly didn't need to consider a natural (non-epidural) childbirth. He told me to get some sleep.
Was he kidding?!?! I couldn't sit, stand, lie down ANYTHING without being in pain. Well, I went to the ER again at that point, ignoring his advice, and turns out that I was in pre-term labor! Thankfully, because I trusted my own instincts as a woman and NOT the doctor, I was able to avoid a premature birth.
