D.C.
Hi A.,
I had the same condition with my first pregnancy. I miscarried because of the hydidaform mole that was growing on the inside of my uterus. It's a fairly rare condition, most prevalent in Asian women, least likely in Caucasian women. They sent the fetal tissue off for testing and I actually had the cancer called choriocarsinoma. I had to take shots and do blood work every week for a year.
After that year, I found out I was pregnant again with what is now my 12 year old daughter.
I was told that it was a deformity with the pregnancy only, not with my body, so it was a very very slim chance that I would ever have it again.
If you want to ask me any other questions, feel free to email me. Im also giving you a Web MD link that explains the condition a little better.
