I'm looking for some ideas for Party Favors. My son will be 5 and my daughter will be 3. I'm having their party together at Bouncetown and I'm looking for some ideas for party favors that will satisfy both ages and genders. I don't want the kids to think one group got a better favor then the other etc... any ideas?

Thanks in advance you ladies always help me out!

Check out Party Patch in eBay stores. I had used them last year for my daughter's party. What they do is let you choose what you want in the bags from a list of what they have and the price range of what you are looking for. They put everything in a bag, seal it and top it with a two-sided personalized "header." They are adorable and were a huge hit! Since I had both boys and girls there it was great for both genders.

I just had party for my 4yo, we mail-ordered Touchable Bubbles -- we just love them, they are not soapy or wet, they're more like a very light plastic bubble and when they pop leave a slight residue that comes up w/ a dry paper towel.

We included a few lindt chocolate truffles and other little imported italian candies (found at Caputos food store in the bulk candy aisle), and then some finger monster puppets and tattoos. We included little whoopee cushions in the older kids (8yrs up) bags that we found at target (they came 4 to the pack at $1.99 but we only needed 4). All aged kids loved their goody bags! Each bag + contents prob cost around $4-5 and everything was gender neutral. Have fun! Hope these ideas help. You can google touchable bubbles, they sell for $1 apiece at one place plus shipping, they were sincerely the hit of the party!

Hi Cheryl,
We had my son's 5th party last week at Airtastic which is another "jumpy place". I went to Oberweiss and purchased gift cards for each child worth the value of one child size cone (plus tax). They tied a balloon to each card for me,too. Not only did it serve as a take home gift, but it helped decorate the party room.

Funny because I just had my children's b-day party at Bouncetown yesterday. I also combined their parties but I have 2 (4 years) and 1 (age 3). I made them a CD of kid music and made a couple versions - I Pod only lets you make 7 copies of a playlist. Some of the songs we had - some we downloaded from ITunes. I made a decorative CD cover and Back with a list of songs and a thank you.
I have also given a gift cert. to Oberweis. (5 dollars) and nothing else- I would just like to give something useful and that the parents don't have to scoop out of the toybox in a week.

Best wishes for party planning. the staff there do a great job.

I just had my daughter's 4th bday parth there this month. Since the cost of the party is not cheap, I was looking for a low cost party favor that would suit 4-8 year olds. I ended up buying brown paper lunch bags and decorated each with the child's name and stickers. Then I filled them with cheap paper "Happy Birthday" Masks (found at Jewel), birthday blow horns, hersey's miniatures (Milky ways) and double bubble gum. A couple of pieces for each child. Keep in mind, the kids are there for all the fun at bouncetown too, they are not there for the party favors. They are just happy to get anything! All of my daughter's friends loved it!

I always try to do something cheap that seems more than what you've paid for. I've done sand buckets w/ shovels twice. You can get them at Wal-mart for $1.00 each which is probably the most expensive part. I put bubbles and jump ropes in them and some fun summer things (this was for a March birthday). It depends what your budget allows, but Oriental Trading Company is the best except for the shipping. We did bubbles from the Dollar Store and super balls, jump ropes, mini-frisbees, parachutes from Oriental and last year we also had sunglasses and blow up microphones because we had a Hannah Montana/Rock Star theme. Good Luck, I'm sure the kids will love whatever you choose, but I would pick something colorful!

I love the TickleMe Plant Party Favors. In them you can grow a real house plant that moves and closes its fern like leaves when Tickled. OMG see video
if your house plant doesn't move when Tickled.
