ABC Denistry for Children - Dr. Machaud (spelling ??)on Baseline W of Val Vista. Voted top Doc in Phoenix. We love them.
Based on a review from Phoenix Magazine and several recommendations I just made my (two year old) son's first appointment with Dr. Creech - he was voted top pediatric dentist in Phoenix so I figured he must be good! They have several doctors and two locations (Chandler and Gilbert).

Dr. Jared Welch is on Lindsay and Pecos. He is AMAZING! My 3 year old wants to go to the dentist all the time! I've know Jaren for a few years, he is LDS and the Bishop of our church. He is so into the kids and loving them, he's great and the office if beautiful. Try them out!

We have been going to see Dr. James Johnson with East Valley Pediatric Dentistry for two years now. My two boys have so much fun there that it is hard to get them to leave. They have toys in the front office plus video games plus a movie theatre. All this keeps them busy until they get called in. Then they have this room where 4-5 kids can get their teeth cleaned at the same time so it is not scary for the kids, very open. They have a TV above each work station plus they have two video game machines to keep them busy after they get their teeth cleaned and before the dentist comes in to check everything out. They also have toys in that room too for the little ones. They have a few other smaller rooms which is where they do the more extensive work such as fillings and so on.
All the dental equipment there is top of the line. I remember when we first went and they showed me all the technical equipment they had all I could keep saying to myself is "Wow my dentist is behind the times". The last thing is if they did a good job they get two tokens so when they leave the cleaning area they can stop by these gumball machines that have toys, balls, stickers and other stuff and purchase two items with their tokens.
They are so great with the kids and with all the cool stuff it really makes taking them to the dentist fun instead of being scared.
