Hands down best - Dental Care 4 Kids in Flower Mound ###-###-####. My oldest had a horrible fear of dentists from a prior experience and she has no problems at all here.
My pediatrician told me at our last visit that my 2 year old was getting to the age where we needed to have our first dentist appt. My son is very shy about new people, and DOES NOT like people looking in his mouth. I am just wondering if anyone can suggest a great dentist for kids in our area?

I love Dr. Linda Steele and her staff in Coppell off of Denton Tap rd. ###-###-#### I just took my 2 y/o in December. They will do as much or as little as they can. She is big on wanting it to be a positive experience all the way around. The kids get to pick a DVD and watch it on the ceiling with headphones if they want to. It is very kid friendly. I am even impressed with the front office staff.
Pediatric Dental World in Highland Village is great. WE have seen Dr Clapp for all 8 of our children since 2002. He is very sweet. I just took my almost 2 year old for his first check up. My son is very energetic, and hates being restricted, he did awesome while Dr Clapp checked and cleaned his teeth. My kids love going there. He also does not overcharge ever and if a tooth he fixed needs more repair later (like a cap) he will give you credit for his prior work. He always discusses treatment with you so you can decide.

Kids Dental in Coppell. Dr Sonia Louca. She is very gentle with the kids and does not scare the children. I have found she is the best pedi dentist in the area.
My kids love their dentist she is in Coppell just off of Denton Tapp Rd. So, if you are in Lewisville and we are too it is not far. I have 3 children adn they remind me about their follow-up appointments for the dentist.
Her name is Linda Steele and her phone number is:
I don't know hat insurance you have but, you can call and check prices.

I had the info handy because we just went two days ago. Very kid friendly. Stuff animals to show them how to brush, movies while they get their teeth brushed. Video games and toys while they wait and very colorful painted rooms.
Hope this helps.

I just took my son on his 2-yr birthday last week to the Dental Depot on FM407/Morris Rd. He loved it! He was enthralled with the trains that run through the building and the dentist was patient and nice. I'd recommend it for a young child. They really don't do much so it's an easy visit. Good luck!
I work for a pediatric dental practice in Flower Mound, Dental Care 4 Kids. The Doctors and staff are wonderful. There are several comments regarding our practice on this website under pediatrics (not dentists). We make the experience as pleasant as possible for your child.
Melissa Rozas in Coppell is AWESOME with kids. They are incredibly friendly and have dealt with everything. They are the only ones I would recommend in this area. You can tell him ahead of time that they will make him a balloon animal and have him think about which one he might like. Maybe it'll get his mind off the rest of it. Good luck!
I highly recommend Dental Care 4 Kids. They are a husband & wife team and they have great bedside manner with the kids. They are located off Cross Timbers across Sprout's.
Their address is:
2260 Cross Timbers

We use Dr. Debra Duffy in Flower Mound. We have had nothing but a great experience with her and her office staff. The office is totally fun to visit with a slide and movie theater inside the waiting area, and all the staff seem very patient with the children. My son is not very comfortable around new people and they were great with him.
She is in Denotn but she is great !

I'll add one more vote for Dental Care 4 Kids. We've been using them for 6 years and couldn't be more pleased. Both docs are great - very kind and gentle. The staff is super and easy to work with. They are conservative in their approach and don't push uneccessary procedures. Best of luck!
There is a great pediatric dentist at the corner of Morriss and Cross Timbers...Dental Care 4 Kids. The dentists are a husband/wife team and my three boys call them the nice dentists because they were seeing a family dentist before we moved to our patronage who wasn't very patient at all. At Dental Care 4 Kids they don't push the kids....if they can't get x-rays the first visit, then they just wait until the child is ready.
I highly recommend them.

I took my 2 year to my dentist to see if he would comply. He did not. But I want him to used to going so he insisted I just take him every 6 months with the rest of the kids. With my first daughter her first visit was not until she was 4. I never heard of taking them earlier until recently. She complied and was great, I even have pics :). But there is one awesome dentist who visited his mothers day out program and a lot of the kids go to him. But you would have to call Bible bears in the colony to find out his name. Sorry I do not have it.
Check Coppell--I can't recall the doc's name, but there are a couple in Coppell which shouldn't be too far a drive. However, DON'T ever go to Six Day Dental.
